Lizard Point, Kynance Cove & Nature Reserve Circular Tour

There’s a lot more to see and do at Lizard Point than just strolling out to the headland and back, in fact you will be missing some of the most interesting places and beautiful views. From Lizard Village we take a stunning circular walk either starting or ending with Kynance Cove (depending on tides) before returning to Lizard Village. This intricate walk includes Church Cove, the new and the old lifeboat stations, Housel Bay, Lizard Lighthouse, Kynance Cove, Soap Rock and a stroll through the Lizard National Nature Reserve to see rare plants and animals.

Details

  • Up to 8 hour tour between 9am and 5pm as suits

  • Meet at Lizard Village car park which has a donation box - we suggest £5 for all day parking

  • The route consists of coastal footpaths and heathland footpaths, with a small amount of walking along quiet country roads

  • We will discuss your requirements in advance and make any suitable adjustments to ensure you have an enjoyable tour

  • See the famous Lizard Point headland, lifeboat stations, lighthouse, Kynance Cove, Church Cove, Lizard National Nature Reserve and much more

  • See some of the rare plants and animals of this unique area as well as stunning views

  • Option - food and drink available at Kynance Cove, Lizard Village and Lizard Point (cost of food and drink not included in the tour price)

  • Options - the new Lizard Lifeboat station is usually open on weekdays from 10am to 3:30pm. This depends on whether they have volunteers available, whether they have to launch for a real emergency, and other factors, so we cannot guarantee a visit inside (though we walk right past the Lifeboat Station on the coast path.

  • Children welcome but must be supervised by an adult

  • Dogs are welcome but must be on a short lead at all times without exception.
